There are a number of criminal charges related to driving a vehicle in Washington. These crimes are categorized as “criminal traffic” related offenses and can lead to jail, fines, license suspension, high risk insurance requirements, and other long-term consequences. This category of crimes is the larges category of crimes charged in Washington state and I have handled thousands of criminal traffic offenses over my career.
